In Friday's non-league match, the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops basketball team scored a tight 67-65 triumph over the The Carmel School Wildcats.

In their next game, the Bishops face the Carlisle Chiefs (Martinsville, VA) in a VISAA Division 3 match, on Saturday, February 12. Virginia Episcopal School will attempt to move on its 11-14 season record. The Chiefs enter the match with a 5-10 record after their 87-25 league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA).
