California High School Basketball - Davis knocked off by Pleasant Valley
January 12, 2019: Chico, CA 95926 The Pleasant Valley Vikings basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Davis Blue Devils to 43 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shasta for a contest on Tuesday, January 15. Pleasant Valley will meet a Wolves team coming off a 47-44 non-league loss to Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-6.
The Blue Devils (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Pleasant Grove was outscored by St. Francis (Sacramento, CA), 58-6, in a league contest.
