In Monday's non-league match, the host Highland Rams basketball team scored a decisive 67-39 triumph over the Union Tigers.

In their next game, the Rams meet the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) in a Pioneer match, on Wednesday, February 1. Highland will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Fighting Blues enter the match with a 11-8 record after their 61-16 league win over Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA).
