New Jersey High School Basketball - Ridge over Summit
January 7, 2023: Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ) and the visiting Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ), saw Ridge's basketball squad overcome Summit by a tally of 53-39.
With the victory, Ridge improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Red Devil travel to Immaculata (Somerville, NJ) to play the Spartans in a Skyland - Raritan challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Immaculata lost 30-28 in their recent non-league challenge against South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Summit will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 63-44 non-league loss to Westfield (Westfield, NJ).
