Connecticut High School Basketball - Foran can't hold off Bunnell
February 5, 2022: Stratford, CT 06614 The Bunnell Bulldogs basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Foran Lions to 49 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a Southwest contest on Monday, February 7. Bunnell will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 55-45 league win over Joel Barlow (Redding, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-6.
The Lions (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against East Haven (East Haven, CT). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, East Haven was nudged by West Haven (West Haven, CT), 86-47, in a non-league contest.
