August 31, 2012: University Place, WA 98466 Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA), 20-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Curtis improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, WA) to battle the Eagles in a 4A SPSL - South test on Friday, September 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Graham-Kapowsin won 27-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Post Falls (Post Falls, ID)
The Jaguars now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Federal Way for a 4A SPSL - South challenge on Thursday, September 6. Emerald Ridge will meet a Eagles team coming off a 41-14 league win over Rogers (Puyallup, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
