December 28, 2022: Winona, MS 38967 Winona Christian Stars (Winona, MS) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Oak Hill Academy Raiders (West Point, MS), 52-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Winona Christian upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Stars host Delta Academy (Marks, MS) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Delta Academy lost 81-22 in their recent non-league bout against Rossville Christian Academy (Rossville, TN)
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Rossville Christian Academy Wolves (Rossville, TN) in a MAIS 4A District 1 bout, on Friday, January 6. Oak Hill Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
