The Donovan Catholic Griffins basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Lacey Township Lions to 35 in the Griffins non-league victory on Monday.

The Griffins now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakewood for a Shore B - South contest on Thursday, January 12. Donovan Catholic will battle a Piners team coming off a 70-58 non-league loss to Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ). The Piners record now stands at 7-3.

The Lions (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Pinelands Regional edged Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ), 63-58, in a non-league contest.
