South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Sabres now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Butler for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 23. South Mecklenburg will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Olympic falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Mustangs in a So Meck 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 6-0.
