Minnesota High School Basketball - Yellow Medicine East topped by Sauk Centre
January 13, 2015: Granite Falls, MN 56241 The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the host Yellow Medicine East Sting to 67 in the Mainstreeters league victory on Tuesday.
The Mainstreeters now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host B O L D for a West Central contest on Friday, January 16. Sauk Centre will battle a Warriors team coming off a 63-48 league loss to Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-9.
The Sting (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Tigers come into the West Central contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta dropped by New London-Spicer (New London, MN), 59-41, in a non-league contest.
