Mississippi High School Basketball - Ridgeland tipped by Canton

January 13, 2023: Ridgeland, MS 39157

The Canton Tigers basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Ridgeland Titans to 37 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murrah for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Canton will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 64-28 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-6.

The Titans (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Cleveland Central was nudged by Lafayette (Oxford, MS), 52-27, in a league contest.
