Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - St. George's knocks off Hoosac
January 26, 2024: Middletown, RI 02842 The St. George's Dragons ice hockey squad scored 7 points and restricted the visiting Hoosac Owls to 0 in the Dragons league victory on Friday.
With the victory, St. George's moves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Dragons host Noble & Greenough (Dedham, MA) to face the Bulldogs in a contest on Wednesday, January 31. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 16-0. Noble & Greenough won 6-1 in their recent league contest against St. Paul's (Concord, NH)
The Owls now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Portsmouth Abbey for a contest on Saturday, January 27. Hoosac will face a Ravens squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA). The Ravens record now stands at 8-6.
