St. Ignatius Wolfpack (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL), 64-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Ignatius upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host De La Salle (Chicago, IL) to play the Meteors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 13. The Meteors come into the bout with a record of 8-5. De La Salle won 68-60 in their recent league bout against Seton Academy (South Holland, IL)

Next up, the Vikings play the St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 13. St. Laurence will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 77-75 non-league win over Chaminade (St. Louis, MO).
