Michigan High School Basketball - Arbor Prep tops Powers Catholic
December 16, 2023: Flint, MI 48505 Arbor Prep Gators (Ypsilanti, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI), 51-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Arbor Prep upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Northwest (Jackson, MI) to play the Mounties in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Mounties come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Northwest won 48-32 in their recent league bout against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI)
Next up, the Chargers play the Corunna Cavaliers (Corunna, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Powers Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
