Maryland High School Basketball - Our Lady of Mount Carmel tops New Town
January 6, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21221 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting New Town (Owings Mills, MD), saw Our Lady of Mount Carmel's basketball squad knock off New Town by a tally of 50-37.
With the victory, Our Lady of Mount Carmel improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD) to play the Cardinals in a MIAA A - Red challenge on Friday, January 12. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Calvert Hall won 91-80 in their recent non-league challenge against Overlea (Baltimore, MD)
Next up, the play the Catonsville Comets (Baltimore, MD) in a Baltimore County 2 challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. New Town will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
