South Dakota High School Basketball - Mitchell topples Thunder Basin
December 30, 2022: Mitchell, SD 57301 In Friday's non-league outing, the Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) basketball squad beat the visiting Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY), by a count of 62-52.
The Kernels (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD). The Tigers go into the AA outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Harrisburg defeated Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD), 66-51, in a league outing.
The Bolts now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Green River for a non-league outing on Friday, January 13.
