Indiana High School Basketball - Wawasee tops Elkhart Central
January 18, 2014: Elkhart, IN 46516 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wawasee Warriors (Syracuse, IN) and the host Elkhart Central Blazers (Elkhart, IN), saw Wawasee's basketball squad knock off Elkhart Central by a tally of 57-44.
With the victory, Wawasee improves its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Plymouth (Plymouth, IN) to play the Pilgrims in a Northern Lakes challenge on Friday, January 24. The Pilgrims come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Plymouth lost 50-40 in their recent non-league challenge against LaPorte (LaPorte, IN)
Next up, the Blazers play the Concord Minutemen (Elkhart, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Elkhart Central will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 63-50 league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, IN).
