California High School Basketball - Hilltop crushes Sweetwater

January 13, 2023: Chula Vista, CA 91910

Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA), 55-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Hilltop upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Lancers host Mission Bay (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Mission Bay won 38-18 in their recent league bout against Clairemont (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Escondido Charter White Tigers (Escondido, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Sweetwater will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The White Tigers go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 65-47 non-league loss to Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA).
