Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Prairie View Buffaloes (La Cygne, KS), 51-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Anderson County upgrades its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Central Heights (Richmond, KS) to play the Vikings in a Pioneer bout on Thursday, February 26. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 3-16. Central Heights lost 50-47 in their recent non-league bout against Lyndon (Lyndon, KS)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Osawatomie Trojans (Osawatomie, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 24. Prairie View will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 72-47 non-league win over Jayhawk Linn (Mound City, KS).
