North Carolina High School Basketball - Trinity Academy tops Salem Baptist Christian
January 15, 2019: Winston-Salem, NC 27101 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Trinity Academy Tigers (Raleigh, NC) and the host Salem Baptist Christian Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Trinity Academy's basketball squad knock off Salem Baptist Christian by a tally of 74-54.
With the victory, Trinity Academy improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC) to play the Royals in a NCISAA Tri-TAC challenge on Friday, January 18. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Burlington Christian Academy lost 91-76 in their recent league challenge against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC)
Next up, the Vikings play the O'Neal Falcons (Southern Pines, NC) in a NCISAA Tri-TAC challenge, on Friday, January 18. Salem Baptist Christian will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 72-43 league win over Carolina Friends (Durham, NC).
