The Springdale Dynamos basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Northgate Flames to 18 in the Dynamos non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Dynamos now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Steel Valley for a WPIAL 2A 3 contest on Monday, January 16. Springdale will meet a Ironmen team coming off a 54-24 non-league loss to Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA). The Ironmen record now stands at 0-12.

The Flames (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Cherry (McDonald, PA). The Rangers enter the WPIAL 2A 2 contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Fort Cherry was routed by Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA), 43-36, in a league contest.
