Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Copley Indians (Copley, OH), 56-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Aurora upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Greenmen host Magnificat (Rocky River, OH) to play the Blue Streaks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 9. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Magnificat won 47-46 in their recent non-league bout against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Revere Minutemen (Richfield, OH) in a Suburban - American bout, on Wednesday, January 27. Copley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record.
