South Dakota High School Basketball - Hamlin overwhelms Webster
January 13, 2023: Webster, SD 57274 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) and the host Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD), saw Hamlin's basketball squad wallop Webster by a tally of 71-20.
With the victory, Hamlin improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to West Lyon (Inwood, IA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. West Lyon won 52-51 in their recent league challenge against Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Webster will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 58-38 non-league loss to Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD).
