North Branch Broncos (North Branch, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Armada Tigers (Armada, MI), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Broncos now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Almont for a Blue Water Area challenge on Tuesday, May 10. North Branch will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Hillman (Hillman, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 18-3.

With the loss, Armada falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI) to battle the Pioneers in a Blue Water Area challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Croswell-Lexington lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Almont (Almont, MI)
