New York High School Soccer - West Seneca East held off by Alden
September 7, 2012: West Seneca, NY 14224 The crowd at Friday's league test between the Alden Bulldogs (Alden, NY) and the host West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY), saw Alden's soccer squad get by West Seneca East by a margin of 3-2.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lackawanna for a Erie County Interscholastic Conference test on Saturday, September 8. Alden will meet a Steelers squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Kennedy (Cheektowaga, NY). The Steelers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, West Seneca East drops to 0-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Hamburg (Hamburg, NY) to meet the Bulldogs in a Erie County Interscholastic Conference test on Monday, September 10. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-0. Hamburg won 4-1 in their recent league test against Starpoint (Lockport, NY)
