Colorado High School Soccer - Cheyenne Mountain nudges Lewis-Palmer
April 25, 2024: Monument, CO 80132 Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Red-Tailed Hawks face the Erie Tigers (Erie, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 27. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Loveland (Loveland, CO).
The Rangers now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palmer Ridge for a 4A Pikes Peak challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Lewis-Palmer will face a Bears team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lutheran (Parker, CO). The Bears record now stands at 7-3.
