Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE) and the visiting McCook Bison (McCook, NE), saw Northwest's basketball squad overcome McCook by a tally of 39-27.

With the victory, Northwest improves its record to 12-12 on the campaign.

Next up, the Bison confront the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 24. McCook will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The SkyHawks come into the challenge with a 24-1 record after their 66-37 league win over Duchesne (Omaha, NE).
