The Dickson County Cougars topped the visiting Kenwood Knights basketball team by a final score of 59-51 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Northeast Eagles (Clarksville, TN) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, February 21. Dickson County will attempt to advance on its 21-6 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 26-2 record after their 73-32 league win over Springfield (Springfield, TN).

The Knights now own a 21-7 record.

Fourth Quarter

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. --- Dickson County advanced to the finals of the District 10AAA Tournament with a 59-51 vicotry over Kenwood at Northeast High School Saturday night.
The Cougars opened the game with a 14-0 run before Kenwood was able to cut the deficit to 32-26 going ito halftime. Kenwood would pull to within 50-47 near the two-minute mark of the fourth period before the Cougars sealed the trip to the title game with a 6-0 run within a span of less than minute.
JeQuan Lewis led the Cougars with 26 points while Caleb Tuck scored 11 and Tyrler Spicer 11. The same trio all scored in double figures the previous night in an 81-56 quarterfinal win over Henry County.
Kenwood also had a trio of players in double figures led by Daniel Norl with 17 points. DeAndre Lisenbee and Maleek Hall each scored 10 points.
The game featured two of the state's top leader in steals in DCHS's Lewis and KHS's Hall. Lewis had five while Hall ended the contest with a pair.
