California High School Basketball - El Segundo nips Vistamar
January 15, 2024: El Segundo, CA 90245 El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Vistamar Vikings (El Segundo, CA), 28-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, El Segundo upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Eagles travel to North (Torrance, CA) to play the Saxons in a Pioneer bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 16-5. North won 64-28 in their recent league bout against West (Torrance, CA)
Next up, the Vikings play the California Academy of Math & Science Rebels (Carson, CA) in a Coastal bout, on Friday, January 19. Vistamar will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 55-13 league win over New Roads (Santa Monica, CA).
