North Carolina High School Basketball - Murphy over Enka

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) and the host Enka Jets (Enka, NC), saw Murphy's basketball squad overcome Enka by a tally of 71-62.

With the victory, Murphy improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Highlands (Highlands, NC) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Highlands won 58-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Swain County (Bryson City, NC)

Next up, the Jets confront the Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 53 challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Enka will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record.
