In Thursday's non-league outing, the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), by a margin of 67-44.

The Chargers (27-1) will now prepare for their outing against West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 21-6 record. In their last outing, West Carteret smashed West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 58-36, in a non-league outing.

The Hawks now own a 16-8 record.
