The Lorena Leopards football squad scored 27 points and restricted the visiting West Trojans to 13 in the Leopards non-league victory on Friday.

The Leopards now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Leadership for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Lorena will play a Tigers squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Honey Grove (Honey Grove, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Whitney Wildcats (Whitney, TX) in a 3A-1 Region II District 7 battle, on Friday, September 15. West will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
