Illinois High School Basketball - Islamic Foundation crushes Montini Catholic
February 3, 2023: Lombard, IL 60148 Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL), 65-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Islamic Foundation upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Chargers host Schaumburg Christian (Schaumburg, IL) to play the Conquerors in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Conquerors go into the bout with a record of 0-16. Schaumburg Christian lost 60-48 in their recent non-league bout against Westlake Christian Academy (Grayslake, IL)
Next up, the Broncos play the Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Montini Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-22 season record. The Friars go into the bout with a 16-12 record after their 59-30 non-league win over Clark (Chicago, IL).
