April 15, 2011: Whittier, CA 90604 In Friday's non-league contest, the Orange Lutheran Lancers (Orange, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host California Condors (Whittier, CA), by a margin of 8-0.
With the triumph, Orange Lutheran moves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Lancers host Rosary (Fullerton, CA) to play the Royals in a Trinity contest on Tuesday, April 19. The Royals come into the contest with a record of 11-10. Rosary lost 10-6 in their recent non-league contest against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA)

Madison Osias pitched a 3 hit shutout to lead Orange Lutheran (13-4) over California of Whittier. With the win Osias improved her record to 6-1. The Lancers pounded out 12 hits and scored 8 runs in the 5 inning mercy rule game. Noelle Wagner led the Lancers offensively with a 2 for 2 performance with a 2 run homerun. Jade Vecvanags was 2-3 with a double, Alyssa Taylor was 2-4 with a triple and 2 runs scored, Savannah King was 2-4 with 1 RBI, Madison Osias was 2-3 with a triple and 2 RBI's. Olivia Sandusky and Heather Hall also had one RBI apiece.
