Colorado High School Softball - Mitchell nudges Alameda
September 30, 2022: Lakewood, CO 80232 Mitchell Marauders (Colorado Springs, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO), 11-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Marauders now own a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo Centennial for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 1. Mitchell will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-13.
With the loss, Alameda falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Pirates host Standley Lake (Westminster, CO) to battle the Gators in a 4A Jeffco challenge on Monday, October 3. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 9-12. Standley Lake lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Golden (Golden, CO)
