Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI) fans exited the stadium happy Friday as they observed their basketball team defeat the visiting Brimley Bays (Brimley, MI), 58-43 in a non-league contest.

The Blue Devils now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pickford for a non-league contest on Monday, January 27. Sault Area will meet a Panthers team coming off a 62-50 non-league win over Rudyard (Rudyard, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 7-1.
