January 25, 2022: Cusseta, GA 31805 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chattahoochee County Panthers (Cusseta, GA) and the visiting Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA), saw Chattahoochee County's basketball squad overcome Calhoun County by a tally of 51-37.
With the victory, Chattahoochee County improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA) to confront the Royal Knights in a A Public Region 5 challenge on Friday, January 28. The Royal Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-15. Stewart County lost 41-32 in their recent league challenge against Macon County (Montezuma, GA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA) in a A Public Region 1 challenge, on Friday, January 28. Calhoun County will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 57-25 league loss to Pelham (Pelham, GA).
