January 6, 2023: Wexford, PA 15090

North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA), 59-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Allegheny upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Butler (Butler, PA) to play the Golden Tornado in a WPIAL 6A 1 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Golden Tornado come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Butler lost 56-32 in their recent league bout against Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 bout, on Monday, January 9. Pine-Richland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 52-33 league loss to Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA).
