The Northwestern Regional Highlanders basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Thomaston Bears to 29 in the Highlanders league victory on Thursday.

The Highlanders now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vinal RVT for a non-league contest on Monday, December 27. Northwestern Regional will battle a Hawks team coming off a 65-44 non-league loss to O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
