The Helix Highlanders baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Coronado Islanders to 2 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Highlanders (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Sage Creek was edged by La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA), 6-4, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Coronado falls to 9-5 on the season. The Islanders travel to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28.
