The Denham Springs Yellowjackets basketball team scored 63 points and held the host McKinley Panthers to 32 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkview Baptist for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Denham Springs will meet a Eagles team coming off a 41-37 non-league win over Mandeville (Mandeville, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.

The Panthers (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA). The Charging Indians enter the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Washington-Marion triumphed over Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA), 91-58, in a non-league contest.
