Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO) and the visiting Westminster Wolves (Westminster, CO), saw Aurora Central's basketball squad hold off Westminster by a score of 74-69.

With the victory, Aurora Central improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Skyview (Thornton, CO) to play the Wolverines in a 5A/4A East Metro challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 6-4. Skyview won 69-49 in their recent non-league battle against Denver West (Denver, CO)

The Wolves (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Denver, CO). The Lancers come into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Lincoln edged Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO), 40-38, in a non-league battle.
