January 27, 2024: Danville, IL 61832 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Danville Vikings (Danville, IL) and the visiting Calvary Saints (Springfield, IL), saw Danville's basketball squad hold off Calvary by a tally of 76-71.
With the victory, Danville improves its record to 9-14 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to confront the Ironmen in a Big Twelve challenge on Friday, February 2. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a record of 22-4. Normal Community won 56-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL)
Next up, the Saints confront the Springfield Senators (Springfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Calvary will attempt to improve on its 17-7 season record.
