September 15, 2023: St. Joseph, MO 64505 Liberty North Eagles (Liberty, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they host Raymore-Peculiar for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. Liberty North will face a Panthers squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Liberty North (Liberty, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 14-0.
With the loss, Lafayette falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Fighting irish travel to Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16.
