Wisconsin High School Basketball - Wayland Academy fells Green Lake/Princeton
January 25, 2019: Beaver Dam, WI 53916 Wayland Academy Big Red (Beaver Dam, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Green Lake/Princeton Tigersharks (Green Lake, WI), 74-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wayland Academy upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Big Red host Mayville (Mayville, WI) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, January 28. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Mayville lost 80-54 in their recent league bout against Laconia (Rosendale, WI)
Next up, the Tigersharks clash with the Fall River Pirates (Fall River, WI) in a Trailways - West bout, on Tuesday, January 29. Green Lake/Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 63-60 league win over Cambria-Friesland (Cambria, WI).
