Virginia High School Basketball - Freeman nips Atlee
November 29, 2022: Mechanicsville, VA 23116 Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA), 47-42 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Freeman improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Henrico (Richmond, VA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 30. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Henrico won 62-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA)
Next up, the Raiders confront the J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Atlee will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 55-30 non-league loss to Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA).
