The Baytown Christian Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Chinquapin Burrs to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brazosport Christian for a TAPPS 1A District 8 game on Tuesday, September 5.
The Burrs (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Covenant Christian (Conroe, TX). The Cougars enter the TAPPS 2A District 6 game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Covenant Christian was nudged by Alpha Omega Academy (Huntsville, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
