California High School Basketball - Valley Christian nips Leigh
December 14, 2018: San Jose, CA 95111 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA), saw Valley Christian's basketball squad hold off Leigh by a tally of 70-66.
With the victory, Valley Christian improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Branham (San Jose, CA) to play the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 18. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Branham won 68-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Grove (San Jose, CA)
Next up, the Longhorns play the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 15. Leigh will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 68-61 non-league loss to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA).
