Maine High School Basketball - Hall-Dale overwhelms Winthrop
December 27, 2023: Farmingdale, ME 04344 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Hall-Dale Bulldogs (Farmingdale, ME) and the visiting Winthrop Ramblers (Winthrop, ME), saw Hall-Dale's basketball squad wallop Winthrop by a tally of 72-19.
With the victory, Hall-Dale improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME) to confront the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 0-4.
Next up, the Ramblers confront the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) in a C South challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Winthrop will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 65-14 league loss to North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME).
