The Hermleigh Cardinals basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Anson Tigers to 43 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenwood for a non-league contest on Friday, November 17. Hermleigh will battle a Rangers team coming off a 63-57 non-league loss to Merkel (Merkel, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 2-3.

The Tigers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Menard (Menard, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Menard triumphed over Brady (Brady, TX), 60-47, in a non-league contest.
